What you will be doing: This supervisory position is responsible for the oversight of the wildlife research program and staff in Region IV (Central/Southwestern Alaska). The position involves developing and ensuring a scientific basis for the regional wildlife management program, including developing, improving, or discarding management techniques for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data used to make management decisions and regulatory recommendations to the Alaska Board of Game which includes intensive management activities. This position is responsible for determination of project and spending priorities; supervision of research and associated staff; assurance of scientific quality
