The full performance level for this position serves as a zone wildlife biologist on the Mio and Huron Shores Ranger Districts, Huron-Manistee National Forests in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.  This is a non-supervisory position, although the incumbent routinely provides direction to other employees and volunteers on specific projects during the spring and summer.  The incumbent’s primary duties will consist of accomplishing wildlife habitat management projects for both Districts, preparing biological assessments & evaluations for both District and Zone level projects, and serving as an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) member on NEPA projects.
