Canada KBA Coordinator -  WCS Canada, in partnership with other organizations, is organizing a two-year project to identify and implement Key Biodiversity Areas (KBA) in Canada. A KBA Coalition is being established to implement the standard in Canada; the Secretariat will be housed within WCS Canada.  The Canada KBA Coordinator will facilitate and support the KBA Coalition in Canada to implement a visionary and ambitious programme to mobilize resources and expertise to further identify and map Key Biodiversity Areas in Canada, as a vital tool to assist in the conservation of biodiversity.
