As Wildlife Manager – South Baffin, you will provide wildlife management advice to the region, coordinate and evaluate activities to ensure compliance with renewable resource legislation, the sustainable use of wildlife and a high quality of the environment, coordinate public education on acts, regulations, safety, and programs, within the context of the legislation, departmental policies, procedures and departmental priorities. You will manage the staff of the Region (Wildlife Manager Trainee, Conservation Officers Trainee, II and III, clerical staff, casuals, and seasonal employees), represent the Department on regional wildlife issues, and carry out specific regional office responsibilities.
