Description: The Great Basin Institute, in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management is recruiting 2 Wildlife Technicians for the Casper Field Office, located in Casper, WY. The selected candidates will  assist the Field Office Wildlife Biologists in performing surveys for multiple sensitive species, maintenance to wildlife habitat structures, and public outreach and engagement activities. Duties Include:
  • Rangeland Health Monitoring - Reading transects, identifying native and invasive plants, identifying wildlife signs, and browse status
  • Invasive Species Monitoring (Cheatgrass) - Reading transects, identifying cheatgrass, identifying native and invasive plants
  • Raptor Nesting Surveys - Visiting Artific
