The terrestrial conservation program of WWF-India is spread across nine landscapes that are located in diverse ecosystems from the Himalayas to the northeast, from arid western regions to the Nilgiris, and from central India to the Sundarbans delta. Conservation at the landscape scale includes a wide range of work including research & monitoring, capacity building & institutional development, policy & advocacy and engagement with multiple partners including local communities, government and CSOs. Developing and funding these initiatives requires strategizing, preparing documents for pitching to partners, monitoring implementation and reporting back to stakeholders.
