Description: While working in the Commissary Department, interns will learn all aspects of diet preparation for the Zoo.  Interns will be working with our Animal Behavior and Enrichment Manager designing, preparing and observing animal interactions with enrichment items.  Interns will also assist the Zoo Registrar in logging a variety of enrichment data into our system. Internship functions include, but are not limited to: Assist with researching and formulating novel animal enrichment ideas and devices for Animal Department use. Create/construct enrichment devices based on approved requests within the Animal Department.
