My duties include entering data for vehicle loans, opening incoming mail and ensuring all documents are enclosed and correctly filled out, dispersing incoming documents appropriately, and ensuring all faxed documents are correctly filled out.
Buffalo Zoo Guest Services Associate May 2015 – August 2015
Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo, NY
My duties included selling admission, running various rides and stands inside the zoo, checking tickets at the gate to ensure all visitors have paid, and assisting visitors with complaints.
Graduate Admissions Assistant September 2013 – April 2015

I was an assistant to the secretaries in the graduate admissions office. My duties included organizing the storage rooms, filing, taking inventory, delivering documents to other offices on campus, and greeting visitors and directing them to their destinations.
Internship at Buffalo Zoo May 2014 – July 2014
Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo, NY
My duties included preparing diets for the Gorillas, Meerkats, Snow Monkeys, Ring-Tailed Lemurs, and Sulawesi Macaques. I was also responsible for cleaning the Gorillas holding pens, feeding the various primates and creating enrichment for all the above mentioned animals.
Field Experience
Kangaroo GPS Monitoring Fieldwork August 2014
University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia
I was invited to work with Dr. Scott Burnett on the campus of the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia, in order to tranquilize Kangaroos and place GPS collars on them so that his team could monitor their movement to assess population declines.
Vertebrate Diversity and Ecology Course September 2014

For this course my classmates and I performed fieldwork on the campus of the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. We placed Elliott traps, dug pitfalls and placed funnel traps in locations representing three habitat types. Traps were checked twice daily and we recorded both those species that were caught and various characteristics of individuals caught.
Coastal and Marine Ecology Course September 2014
University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia
For this course my classmates and I participated in field surveys on Fraser Island, largely driving along the coasts and counting the numbers of various species of birds. We also conducted fieldwork on local beaches near USC measuring the presence of various species as well as their abundance.
