· Monitor and conduct daily rounds/census on assigned subjects at up to seven compounds
· Collect eye-tracking data on infant rhesus for use on an NIH Autism Center for Excellence (ACE) related project
· Access animals in compounds using principles of classical conditioning. Animals were trained to run into boxes to be safely transported to behavioral testing areas
· Familiar with chemical restraint via intramuscular injections (Telazol, Ketamine)
· Handle a Canon EOS 50D for photography of animals in compounds. Utilize Photoshop (CS3, CS6) to create a collection of photographs of rhesus for use in eye-tracking videos and behavioral analysis
· Handle a Canon 3CCD XL1 for videography of animals in compounds. Utilize Noldus Observer to analyze behavioral videos/data of infant rhesus.
· Assist Dr. Mar Sanchez’s laboratory in timed accesses, blood draws, and spinal taps of their subjects
