It is intended that this new full-time post will be based in the Belfast metropolitan area in Northern Ireland, although home working for part of the time may be possible. The post-holder will be linemanaged by our Senior Research Ecologist, John Calladine, based in Stirling and also receive formal support from our Principal Ecologist, Dr David Noble, based in Norfolk, and our BTO NI Officer, Shane Wolsey, based locally. The post-holder will work closely with NIEA/DAERA, other Government departments, other NGOs and other stakeholders in environmental evidence to identify priority areas of need and to guide the collection of new data and the analysis of current data sets.
