MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Under the direction of the Chief of Natural Resources and Senior Staff, serve as the interagency point of contact for FHNR for the protection of natural resources from external impacts. • Review all proposals, plans, designs, construction documents and specifications generated internally, by other agencies or the private sector that may have an impact on the restoration, protection and management of the City’s forests, wetlands and grasslands. • Serve as technical liaison on and coordinate responses related to protection issues for FHNR to other divisions within NYC Parks and to outside agencies.
