I am seeking volunteer field assistants for a project on social behavior, courtship displays, and cooperation in Golden-winged Manakins Masius chrysopterus. Field work will take place from mid-June to late August 2015. This project is being conducted at Milpe Bird Sanctuary near Mindo, Ecuador. Field assistants will help with observation of lek sites, mist-netting, and setting up video cameras. This is a great chance to gain tropical experience and experience with mist-netting and observation.
