Description
Work Week: Non-exempt positions; 40+ hours per week to meet work demands
Duty Station: Vicinity of Dryden, Ontario, Canada
Anticipated Duration: 4-5 months, ~mid-June 2017 through late-October 2017
Salary Range: $11.40/hour with appropriate overtime pay. Returning applicants will receive consideration for past NCASI experience. Positions do not qualify for benefits.
This study involves data collection on foraging dynamics and nutrition using tame, captive caribou. Our primary goal is to increase knowledge of how habitat and habitat management influence the nutritional well-being of caribou. We will construct temporary pens in different habitats and transport the caribou to the pens for data collection in remote are
