The Danish coast line is more than 7300 km long and every Dane is, irrespectively of where he or she lives, less than an hour’s drive away from the coast. Thus, the sea is a very important nature type for the Danes. Communication of scientific knowledge in marine biology is, however, challenging, constrained by the limited access to underwater habitats by the general public.

We are looking for a motivated candidate to study the communication of marine biology to primary, secondary and tertiary schools and to the general public. The candidate should have a strong background in biology, preferably marine biology, and in scientific communication. Experience with marine botany, zoology, population dynamics, as well as marine animal behaviour, physiology and ecology will be preferre
