Overview

The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is currently looking for a Programme Assistant to manage the day-to-day running of the for ICE-ARC (Ice, Climate, Economics – Arctic Research on Change) Programme.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous secretarial/administrative experience, good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to support publications and paperwork. Good numerical ability is essential to accurately track budgets and expenses. You must have good interpersonal skills to be able to work in a small team and communicate with a variety of people involved in the project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an administrator with previous experience to support an exciting and interesting project.

Qualifications: Maths and English GSCE or equivalent

Duration: Fixed-Term Appointment (End date February 2018)

Salary: In the range of £22,224 to £24,112 per annum
