Salary of £29,643 pa Role Responsibilities:
  • To deliver professional rural land management advice to both SNH staff and land managers, in the context of designated sites in the north of Scotland, including Orkney and Shetland. Occasional travel will be required.
  • To consider the practical, legal, contractual and financial implications of how best to secure natural heritage outcomes.
  • To negotiate with land managers to ensure these objectives are met cost-effectively and meet legal requirements.
  • To work flexibly with various SNH Units in a supportive working environment on both local and national projects.
