Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Assistant Ecologists to join our busy ecology department at our head office in the East Midlands near Derby. You will be assisting one of our three busy internal teams of ecologists providing field survey assistance on great crested newt and bat surveys during spring / summer 2017 on a casual basis.

Required:

• A willingness to work flexibly and away from home;
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude;
• A degree in ecology or a related field;
• A full driving licence and use of a car.

Desirable but not essential:

• Some experience of undertaking great crested newt and other protected species surveys;
• Graduate member of CIEEM.
