The successful Post holder will join the small CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) team based in Peterborough.  JNCC are appointed by the Secretary of State (Defra) as the UK’s CITES Scientific Authority (fauna) and the post holder will assist in delivering our duties which include advising the UK CITES Management Authorities (Defra & the Animal & Plant Health Agency) on issues related to the implementation of CITES.
