Overview

The Cape Eleuthera Institute maintains active field research in The Bahamas focusing on sea turtle and shark ecology, coral reef restoration and monitoring, and sustainable fisheries. Interns will get the chance to enjoy life at the research station, learn about the wildlife and their habitats, see unique wildlife in marine environments including remote Caribbean beaches and coral reefs, and explore the island of Eleuthera. Our mission encompasses research, education and outreach, and is dedicated to raising awareness about environmental conservation.
CEI is seeking highly motivated early career scientists to work as interns supporting our research projection. Interns are critical in fulfilling our mission, and are given the unique opportunity to participate in field-based and analytical research. The successful candidates will be actively engaged with vibrant community of visiting and resident researchers and students.
 
Qualifications:
