05/08/19 - 24/11/19 Mauritius: 5 – 31 August (fieldschool) & 2 – 6 September (classroom) Madagascar: 9 – 13 November (classroom) & 14 – 24 November (fieldschool)   Course Overview The course is the focus of a three year Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) project aiming to increase regional capacity for biodiversity conservation in the Western Indian Ocean – 2018 to 2020. This eight week fully funded course will provide participants with different field-related experiences, together with the theory and human resource management skills needed to become more effective conservation leaders. Technical skills for fauna/flora monitoring and ecosystem/species recovery will be developed through two complementary field school training sessions
