The Willis research lab at the University of Winnipeg is looking for volunteers to catch bats before they enter hibernation as part of an ongoing study examining factors that influence whether bats survive white-nose syndrome, a devastating wildlife disease that threatens hibernating North American bats. You will be trained in fieldwork techniques including capturing, handling and measuring little brown bats.
