Summary of Position:
The Idaho Conservation League (ICL) is currently seeking a conservation river fellow for
2019-2020. The fellow will work with ICL staff to identify and empower individuals, businesses,
outfitters and guides on conservation issues to bring about local and statewide conservation
policy change for salmon, steelhead and Idaho rivers. The ideal candidate works seasonally as a
river guide in Idaho and has an interest in gaining professional skills and experiences that could
help further their career.
Duties:
Identify, communicate and provide opportunities for action and engagement on conservation
issues by working closely with ICL program staff, conservation partners, outfitters and guides.
