Description:
The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management (NREM) at Oklahoma State University
invites applications for a full-time, eleven-month, tenure-track position (75% research and 25% teaching)
in forest wildlife ecology and management. Approximately 28% of Oklahoma is forested and these forests
include a number of forest types including: oak/hickory, shortleaf pine/oak, loblolly pine, oak woodland,
juniper woodland, and riparian. These forests provide wildlife habitat, wood products, recreation, and
other ecosystem services to the region.
We are seeking a candidate that can contribute to and expand our research program in the ecology and
management of forested systems of Oklahoma, with an emphasis on wildlife-forest habitat relationships.
