The successful candidate will work within the Data Management team as a Scientific and Technical Officer, with main responsibility for delivering the data platform for the Interreg VA COMPASS project (Collaborative Oceanography and Monitoring for Protected Areas and Species). The successful candidate will be responsible for database and systems administration and support for the ingestion of data from a network of buoys at sea, and for supporting the infrastructure to make these data available online. The Data Manager will need to demonstrate some experience of working with scripting languages (such as Python) and with databases. Demonstrable w
