Brief Summary of Work for this Position | The Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) is seeking a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor in Avian Field Ecology with emphasis in Wildlife Conservation and Management starting August 2021.
The successful candidate will be required to create and maintain a robust research agenda suited for the R2 status of UNCW. The position requires a research focus on applied avian community ecology leading to resource management and conservation.
This position carries a teaching load of three courses per semester and includes an opportunity for additional summer school teaching.
