At Saltwater Inc., we believe that high quality data is vital to the health of our fisheries and oceans: our mission is to provide that data. We are currently recruiting a qualified Lab Biotech Analyst within the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC) for a federal contract we are bidding on. The Fisheries Behavioral Ecology Program of the RACE Division examines the functional responses of Alaska marine fishes to environmental, climate, and habitat conditions with laboratory experimentation and field collections. Experiments examine the responses of fish to temperature, pH, feeding conditions, habitat variation, and pollutants.  The individual will also standardize laboratory processing of samples such as dissections and lipid analysis.
