Applications are being accepted for a full-time Animal Care Supervisor in the African Journey and Indonesian Rain Forest section. This section of the zoo includes a wide variety of Indonesian bird and reptile species, Sumatran tigers, Sumatran orangutans, clouded leopards, Javan gibbons, African lions, spotted hyenas, cape porcupine, radiated tortoise, serval, bat-eared fox, and banded mongoose as well as de Brazza’s, spot-nosed, colobus, and swamp monkeys.
Responsibilities: The Animal Care Supervisor is a working leadership position that provides direct supervision of employees and coordination of daily operations in a specified animal area and assists with other zoo operations as required. Expected time spent in the field versus administrative duties is 70/30.
