POSITION SUMMARY: The Department of Entomology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is a national and international leader in basic and applied aspects of insect biology, and has expertise ranging from molecular and sub-organismal biology to applied ecology. A core strength of the department is in public health and medical entomology. We are home to the Global Health undergraduate major as well as the Midwest Center of Excellence for Vector-Borne Disease (MCE-VBD), a regional hub for training and research related to vector-borne diseases of humans.
