This is a contract position to perform bird surveys for research examining the effect of sustainable management practices on vineyards' soil health and biodiversity metrics. For this position we need an ornithologist who can perform a 1-hr visual and auditory survey of the bird community in each vineyard. Location There will be 16-20 vineyards in total and they are in the following locations. GPS coordinate will be provided for each site.

• Lodi, CA: 2 vineyards
• Napa Valley: 12-16 vineyards
• Clear lake Oaks: 4 vineyards
