The Institute for Land, Water and Society, Charles Sturt University is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to be part of a team of ecologists to explore the ecology and response of floodplain frogs and reptiles to environmental watering actions in the Murrumbidgee catchment in southern NSW. The candidate will have the ability to develop a complementary research program that aligns with a well-resourced and existing wetland monitoring program. This project will have broad capacity to engage with water managers, community groups, traditional owners and private landholders, and can be taken in a number of directions depending on research interests.
