What is Coastal Classroom?  CPF’s Education Department has operated interdisciplinary environmental education programs in  schools and parks since 1992. ​ C o a s t al Cla s s r o o m ​ focuses on coastal ecology, water quality, urban  waterfront restoration and preservation in Hallets Cove, Long Island City (Queens) and in Kaiser  Park, Coney Island (Brooklyn).
