The Conservation Practitioner III performs and participates in preserve operations including the maintenance, management, development and coordination of conservation and restoration programs.  Position location: J.T. Nickel Family Nature & Wildlife Preserve, Proctor, Oklahoma ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Conduct routine preserve management work such as removal of invasive species, grassland and forest management, ecological monitoring, welding, gate and fence construction, facilities and grounds maintenance, and other related stewardship activities.
  • Assists with land management and restoration planning.
  • Ensures personal safety and safety of crew by following all safety procedures mandated by state/federal law and TNC policies.
