Energy Conservation and Strategy Officer (Town Hall, South Shields) £40,876 pa South Tyneside Council have embarked on an exciting and highly ambitious decarbonisation programme with particular emphasis on the use of renewable technologies to replace fossil fuels. You will be part of a team of experts driving forward our energy conservation and decarbonisation agenda by developing future schemes and programmes to build on the work already completed or in pipeline. You will also provide advice on energy related issues and support the Construction and Technical Services Manager in the development and promotion of the Council’s long-term energy conservation strategies.
