The UC Davis Natural Reserves – Bodega Marine, Jepson Prairie, Lassen Field Station, McLaughlin, Quail Ridge, and Stebbins Cold Canyon – encompass over 10,000 acres and are part of the UC Natural Reserve System (NRS) administered by the Davis campus. These reserves provide research and instructional facilities for resident and campus-based faculty, researchers, and students. Primary research emphases are integrative biological sciences including but not limited to ecology, behavior, and conservation, with additional use from engineering, humanities, physical and social sciences.
