Performs routine (journey-level) fish and wildlife conservation work.  The Seasonal Research Technician will be directly responsible to a biologist assigned to supervise daily operations.  General job responsibilities will include animal husbandry, captive research, construction, and maintenance of feral swine research facilities on Kerr Wildlife Management Area. Working directly with feral swine, the position will support research by implementing research protocols while providing animal care and management. Other specific duties include: construction and maintenance of project materials and facilities; feeding; euthanasia; animal capture/husbandry/restraint/transport/marking; and camera trapping.
