Lynker Technologies, LLC is seeking to hire a Fisheries Lab Biologist to support an upcoming contract with NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC). Work will be conducted on-site at the Newport, Oregon NOAA facility. This position is anticipated to begin January 1st, 2022 and extend for 7 months, with the option for extension. The hiring of positions is contingent on receiving the award for the contract. The Fisheries Behavioral Ecology Program of the RACE Division examines the functional responses of Alaska marine fishes to environmental, climate, and habitat conditions with laboratory experimentation and field collections.
