Position/Project Specifics: Incumbent will serve as a Fisheries Technician 2 in Idaho Department of Fish and Game’s Upper Salmon Basin Fisheries Habitat Program. This position will assist the regional fisheries Habitat program in the by monitoring and maintaining habitat restoration projects, assistance in construction of restoration projects, and data management and analysis. The purpose of these projects is to address factors that are limiting the abundance, distribution, and survival of ESA listed anadromous and freshwater resident salmonids in the basin. Field work includes leading electrofishing surveys, snorkel surveys, spawning ground surveys, vegetation monitoring, habitat construction documentation, and photo point monitoring.
