The Grassland Research Coordinator is a cooperative position with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that performs and participates in and coordinates data collection for grassland species and systems of greatest conservation concern to help inform conservation programs. The Grassland Research Coordinator (Coordinator) conducts targeted local monitoring of priority grassland songbirds, compiles data, and assists with data analysis. Supports monitoring of waterfowl, water use, and grassland condition and use following established protocols. Performs selected data creation, manipulation, and analysis using ArcPro to assess habitat and land use at various scales across the grassland focal area.
