We are looking for an excellent junior scientist with an area of expertise in the field of ecological modelling. The successful candidate should have a research focus on freshwater communities and/or freshwater ecosystems, which will complement the existing fields of research within the Faculty of Biology and the Universities’ main research area “Water Research”. A strong background on mechanistic and/or statistical modelling of ecological processes, phenomena or interactions on the macroscale is required, e.g. species distribution modelling, dispersal modelling, modelling of invasions, modelling of stressor effects, metacommunity modelling or food-web modelling.
