Summary Description The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University seeks to fill a research faculty position at the rank of Lamont Assistant Research Professor in the area of biogeochemical processes and their role in global climate. Research foci may include weathering, marine carbonates, ecosystems and carbon feedbacks, carbon capture and storage, or other related topics. Candidates whose research involves processes underlying solution-focused aspects of the carbon cycle are especially welcomed to apply. Candidates may be observationalists, experimentalists, and/or modelers who would take advantage of the wealth of facilities available at Lamont and Columbia University.
