ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Under the supervision of the Environmental Compliance and Planning Manager and Project Manager, the Land Steward II (Monitoring/Planning) will conduct biological baseline surveys and analysis to inform management recommendations and provide data for long term comparative analysis of land management actions. Baseline surveys will be sufficiently detailed to support a comprehensive management plan and will incorporate multiple years of data collection. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Botanical surveys & mapping – species composition, diversity, vegetation alliances, and location • Wildlife surveys for abundance and diversity • Hydrologic resource data collection – surface/spring water flow and quality, ground water monitoring •
