Operation Wallacea is a network of academics from European and North American universities who design and implement biodiversity and conservation management research programmes across countries worldwide. We are currently recruiting for a bird ringer to work at our UK site based at the Knepp Estate in West Sussex. Positions will be for 6 weeks between 7th July and 17th August, and you can find more information on our website. The position will involve carrying out a few different types of bird surveys as part of a large-scale monitoring programme across the rewilding site. Applicants should have experience of working in the field, a biological undergraduate degree level or higher, and extensive survey experience with both point counts and BBS transects.
