Do you want to play a pivotal role in developing a new forest, connecting up the Northern and National Forests through the Derbyshire Derwent?  We’re looking for a Living Landscape Adviser to specialise in developing our woodland work, both management and creation. You will lead on working with landowners to develop new woodlands to work towards our goal of 30% of Derbyshire managed for nature by 2030.  We’re starting this process with an exciting Green Recovery Challenge Fund project, Derwent Connections, which runs until March 2023, but this is a long term plan. To be successful, you will be passionate about developing nature based solutions to the climate and ecological crises and recognise the potential of natural regeneration for woodland creation.
