This is a full-time position with American Bird Conservancy (ABC). The Marbled Murrelet Program Officer is responsible for coordinating Marbled Murrelet conservation activities in the Pacific Northwest region and building high level relationships with public and private sector and local stakeholders. The Marbled Murrelet Program Officer is supervised by the Western Regional Director. This position requires a great deal of contact, in person, and by telephone and correspondence, with the public, government agencies, companies, and potential and existing donors. This work requires initiative, experience in getting on-the-ground results for bird conservation, strong communication and writing skills, ability to multi-task and work individually as well as with a team, and attention to detail
