This position is with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) located in Corvallis. Make a different in preventing and controlling fish diseases and fish losses and promoting the health of Oregon's fish resources primarily in Northeast Oregon. What you will do:

  • Promote health, employ preventative measures, and determine cause of mortality and recommend treatment to fish populations being managed by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW).
  • Investigate fish disease and determine causes of mortality of fish in hatcheries. Perform diagnostic necropsies and medical exams on fish to determine health status. Identify anatomical abnormalities and clinical signs of disease. Collect sam
