Job Description: The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking 7 field technicians for the fourth spring/summer (approximately May 13th - August 2) of the NC Bird Atlas! Positions will be based across the state with each technician stationed in a particular region (Mountains [2 openings], Piedmont [2], or Coastal Plain [3]). Technicians will be responsible for auditory and visual bird surveys and coding breeding behaviors following appropriate Atlas protocols. Some night and weekend work will also be required.
