General Summary The Marine Scientist provides scientific leadership and policy advocacy for Oceana’s campaigns including fishery management, ocean development, habitat protection, climate change, pollution, and seafood fraud. This position provides scientific expertise for multiple projects and professionally represents Oceana in decision-making forums. The Marine Scientist reports to the Deputy Vice President, Pacific and is expected to work closely with Oceana’s Pacific Team.
