Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute (GMGI) is seeking a Scientist with a background in applied microbiology to develop an independent research program in marine discovery that fits GMGI’s mission to “address critical challenges facing our oceans, human health and the environment through innovative scientific research and education”. It is envisioned that this program will use cutting edge ‘omics and molecular techniques to accelerate the discovery of new marine organisms, processes, and products with applications in biotechnology and human health. We are interested in candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research, a strong publication record and a track record of acquiring external research
