This post is for a 15-month Fixed Term Appointment to play a significant role in the project "Using machine learning approaches to better understand the MSBP collections and their likely IUCN Red List status". The role will largely be ensuring that existing data held on the MSBP's Seed Bank Database are complemented by additionally available occurrence records for selected species. These new data will be sourced from existing online data portals such as GBIF, from botanical literature and, where appropriate, from the existing collections held at RBG, Kew.
