PBCB is looking for a Science Instructor to teach hands-on, outdoor STEM lessons. Our ideal candidate is motivated, passionate, flexible, upbeat, organized, and able to think on their feet. We’re looking for somebody that is excited to implement a curriculum for community members of all ages. Our Science Instructor will be confident when leading group activities, hold safety as a top priority, and act as a role model for science staff and program participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with our program offerings and be able to answer parent or customer questions.
  • Teach informal, outdoor lessons for participants of all ages: mainly working as an assistant for our marine science camp, but also lead or assist occasional kayaking tours, canoe tour
